Michael Kors: Wonderlust PopUp

Project Scope:
As part of the campaign for Michael Kors fragrance Wonderlust, an exciting series of pop ups took over NYC, with both Kors himself and campaign face Gigi Hadid making appearances. Guests were given a map of the “experiential treasure hunt,” with 3 distinct locations. In the “Concourse,” I took a bottle of the fragrance and meticulously modeled out a 4-foot tall replica, which was surrounded by custom built pink palm trees, all hosting functional “shell phones,” all atop a custom built graphic-wrapped platform. Getting the bottle just right and the palm trees to support their own weight were fun challenges. We took over the Rockefeller Center MK store with additional palm tree platforms and photo ops. My co-designer Caleb handled custom acrylic bottle plinths, and the tiki-inspired fragrance bar location.
